It's time to start playing BIG pt 2

How was this past weekend for you? I actually spent the weekend in Las Vegas for a friend getaway and it came just in time. Vegas is always such a great place to people watch and really take in all different walks of life. This trip was really different for me though, because for the first time in my life, the lights, flash and hype with all of the glitz and glam didn't make me wish I'd somehow win loads of money so I could escape some part of my life. In fact, it was a reminder that I am right on track for what I want to create and I know you are ready to create the same for yourself.

If you didn't read last week's post, please make sure you do that first before moving on to part two. Last week I had you write down exactly what you wanted to be/do/have for the rest of 2019 in the areas of health/relationship/career. If you read last week's blog and still haven't taken the time to write it out, it may be time to evaluate how much you're willing to focus on creating your ideal life.

I know that life is busy. There are always going to be so many different things pulling you in multiple directions at once. What I want for you is to make moving forward a priority so that you begin carving out time just to dedicate to making lasting-positive changes in your life. When you show up as the best version of yourself, you're a better parent, employee, employer, partner, friend, and family member. Don't wait to fill up everyone else's cup before you take the time to make sure you have what you need to show up every single day the best version of you.

Here's part two of obtaining your goals for the rest of 2019. Now that you've written down your goals for the rest of the year, it's time to create the space and time to make them happen. Nothing grand happens without meaningful action. Rarely do people wake up in the morning in perfect health after struggling with it for years, they make the time to cook healthy foods and get their booty to the gym.

Grab your calendar and start blocking off the time needed to achieve what you want. Now at this point I realize that you may being thinking of all of the reasons you can't possible create more time in your day. You have to work, take care of the family/pets, this and that and this and that. There will always be a million reasons why you can't possibly create more time in your schedule, but it's that exact thinking that has kept you where you are.

It may not be easy, but it will be worth it. From the list of all that you wanted to be/do/have, underline the ONE that would really move the needle for you. Which one from the list would take your life to the next level. You can choose two or three if you would like, but at least choose one that is the most important to you.

Once you've chosen the one that will really elevate your life. Grab your calendar and begin blocking off the time you will focus on that activity and write down specifically what you will do to make a change. If weight-loss is your goal, then block off 3-4 times a week you will get at least 30 minutes of exercise. If you have planned dinners out, write down in your calendar what healthy option you will order before you get to the restaurant. Whatever it is you are focusing on, break down in your week what you have control over and what you're going to do about it. Now is your time to stop playing small or even go from playing BIG to playing HUGE!

I know that you are capable of creating anything you want in this world. It's time for you to believe the same. You've got this!
